Tissue Paper Flower

Hi everyone, after a short break am back. Actually I was busy with something.

In my previous post, I shared tissue paper flower using one method. This time I tried some different method.

Paper flowers are easy to make and give an extra look to the interior. You have so many options with these flowers, make it small to decorate gifts or make a bouquet for a side table or a center piece.This bouquet will last long and no watering required.

TISSUE PAPER - ROSE

Tissue paper is a very less expensive material for the craft. We can make different types of flowers using this. There are different colors of tissue papers available in the market. But I didn't get the colored one so I am using the white one.

There are so many methods to make the tissue flowers. Here I am showing a simple one that everyone can try this. 

                                                           

Materials required for this tissue rose are:Tissue Papers (different colors), Gum, Wire, Green Floral Tape, and Scissors. 

First of all we have to cut the tissue paper into several f lower shaped petals (fig 1). For that we need a cut out of flower on a thick paper. By placing this over the tissue we can cut the petals easily and all of them will be in the same size and shape.

Second step is to make the stem o the flower. For this we have to take a small piece of tissue and wrap around the tip of the wire with the help of gum. Leave it for some seconds to dry. After that make small holes at the center of each petal. Then insert the other end of the wire through the petals. First layer should be very close to the tissue that we wrapped earlier.  For that apply some glue on the petal and press it smoothly from its sides. Like this way take 5 or more petals and arrange it.

The last step is the wrapping of floral tape around the wire. You 

can also attach leaves over it.  Arrange these flowers in a vase....

PAPER CRAFT

Everyone is familier with papers. We are seeing it in our day today life. Paper is a very good and less expensive material for crafting. Some of my craft work using paper is sharing with you..

SIMPLE PAPER FLOWER

This is a simple paper flower. Paper which I have used for this is the A4 sheet.
                                                                                     

FLOWER 1



Flower 1:

Materials required:     A4 sheets, scissors, glue, wires, green flower tape.

v  Take a sheet of A4 paper and cut into small    squares of 5cm.

v  Take a strip and fold it twice that it become quarter of its size and then fold at             the corner.

v  Now it looks like a triangle shape. Cut the edges like a petal.

v  While opening you can get a layer of flower.        Make one more layer like this.

v  Take a wire of desired length and make a hook at one end

v  Insert the wire into the centre of one layer and fix the next layer over it using   glue.

v  Take flower tape and wrap around the wire tightly.

v  Is it SIMPLE......? You can also paint the edges of the petals with color pen.

Flower 2:

Materials required:     A4 sheets, scissors, glue, wires, green flower tape.

v  Take a sheet of A4 paper and cut into small squares of 3cm.

v  Take a strip and fold it twice that it become quarter of its size and then fold at             the corner.

v  Now it looks like a triangle shape. Cut the edges like a petal (sharp edge).

v  While opening you can get a layer of flower. Make one more layer like this.

v  Take a small long stripe of paper and cut a series of slits on one side and also     make sure that not cut all the way through to the ends

v  Take a wire of desired length and make a hook at one end.

v  Wrap the strip of paper around the wire with glue.

v  Stick the layers of flower one above the other in such a way that the petal comes alternately.

v  Insert the wire into the centre of layer.

v  Take flower tape and wrap around the wire tightly.

v  Is it SIMPLE......? You can also paint the edges of the petals with color pen.
